Christmas & New Year Celebration
Students in the elementary classes got together to sing the blessing festive songs to wish the community, teachers, and families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. Younger children in the kindergarten too joined the celebration not only to watch the performance but also to be a moral support to their senior fellow students.
There was also the show from the group of parents intently prepared and performed in order to bring happiness to all in this joyful feast.
In this occasion, there was a fund-raising for the ‘Build with heart, Give with love’ project, from which the gathered fund will be deliberatly used for constructing the building and necessary facilities of our secondary school to be. Our children felt proud that their singing performance could be a small yet powerful support to the community as a whole.
Later in the celebration, there was a gift exchange between the children and their parents in each class. The class teacher had been leading their pupils through gift making process several weeks before the celebration date. The gifts were wholeheartedly made by the children’s sweet little hands for their beloved parents. The parents, meanwhile, had been preparing a heart full gift for their dearest little ones. The gift exchange then was done with a great big happy smile on everyone’s face.
The tradition of presenting a gift which made from love in our school definitely cultivates the good values in the young minds
that they are well capable of doing something good and bringing happiness to others simply with their two hands and one heart.
